The relinquishing of time creates more time. One hour of exercise = everlasting energy.

We are all participating in the marathon of life. To be productive, you have to pace yourself in order to feel strong, alert, and energetic. With the right pace, mindset, and diet, anything is possible. Most of us manage business(s), raise families, and nurture relationships both personal and professional day in and day out, and believe it or not, exercise GIVES you the energy to do this.

The power of exercising

No matter what is going on in life, exercising everyday is almost a must. Not because you must to survive, but because you are certain that you will feel great once you get moving. You know you will have more energy for the rest of the day, think more clearly, concentrate better, and feel more relaxed and at ease. You will be thriving.

The experience of thriving is magical, and a gift. It can ignite your life’s mission. Committing your time to exercise can be uncomfortable for many in a number of ways – physically, mentally and emotionally. But if you dedicate time, work through the initial discomforts, and stick with it, you will transform exercise from “another task to complete”, into an act that is so absolutely satisfying you can’t imagine not having it as a regular part of your life.

The relinquishing of time for exercising actually creates more time. An hour set aside for generating reliable, everlasting energy frees up 2-3 + hours in a day that might have otherwise been allocated to rest or sleep.

Test it out

If you doubt this concept and want some support while you give it a try, it is not too late to join our 13 Day Cardio Challenge. If you stumble upon this post long after we are done, you can do this on your own or with a group anytime. Dedicate to yourself time to exercise for one hour everyday for 10-15 days, and notice how this can really change your body and your mind. It takes getting out your calendar and planning for it like any other appointment you wouldn’t miss. After the 15 days are up, you will notice that everything about exercising is easier: your body is stronger, and your will and mind are stronger too. This makes it exponentially easier to honor the need for daily movement the rest of your life.

As stated at the beginning – “pace yourself in order to feel strong, alert, and energetic. With the right pace, mindset, and diet, anything is possible”

I so agree with this. Exercise give me so much more energy for the rest of the day. Just off on my bicycle to my pilates class.

I used to feel that energy after exercising but haven’t lately. In fact I want to take a quick nap some days. I take classes or swim at least 4 times a week and now more often in the summer. I sometimes think working at home is what drags me down. I’m now starting up Pilates again. I’ll see how that goes.

Maybe you need to change it up a bit, getting outside usually helps, get up early, or do it late. Maybe you need to listen to music or in the peace and quite. Think about what you “usually” do and do the opposite. Overall change of routine like you are alluding to. Diet/nutrition and hormones probably come into play if none of that works. So keep us posted, and we will get it figured out. Don’t throw in the towel. 🙂
