Since the start of 2016, I have been studying electricity and its relationship to healing. You can read what we have shared so far in this post. I was thrilled when truMedic contacted us about doing a product review and giveaway for a TENS unit! I knew these types of machines were commonly used by physical therapists, and coincidently my chiropractor had recently added TENS to her practice. I could deduce what the benefits are by how they are used, but I honestly didn’t know much.

Stress Weight Gain = Belly Fat. Be aware of the connection to hormone imbalance & insulin resistance.

Several studies have demonstrated that people with elevated levels of serum cortisol (caused by continual stress) were at a greater risk for developing insulin resistance, abdominal obesity, and diabetes, in addition to other blood lipid abnormalities and hormone imbalances. Stress weight gain is a completely different topic than simple weight gain.
