The great thing about a smoothie is the ability to get high nutrient density and not have to ingest added sugars to get the benefit of powerful super foods, yet it can still be pleasing to the palate, even delicious. The amount of protein, fiber, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants, eliminate the worry about the natural sugars from the whole fruit ingredients.
1/2 c Organic Frozen Strawberries
1/4 c Organic Cranberry Juice (unsweetened)
1/4 c Organic Mangosteen Juice
1/2 c Organic Almond Milk
2 servings Wholeganic Greens Powder
2 servings Organic Wheat Grass Powder
1 serving Chocolate Protein Energizer Plant Based Protein
1 Serving Vanilla Plant Fusion Plant Based Protein
Combine all ingredients into a Blender or Vitamix. Tip: try to use frozen fruit whenever possible because this keeps your smoothie colder longer. Adding ice is always a good idea if fruit is room temp, or if after the first taste you feel like it needs some “brightening”, ice usually does the trick.
