Kelp noodles are a great way to add sea vegetables to your families diet without anyone cringing about what they are eating. Kelp noodles are raw and a great alternative to traditional pasta. Kelp, and all sea vegetables, have a wide array of nutrients including iodine, 21 amino acids, and over 70 minerals. This is a quick and easy recipe with a lot of flavor.

Ingredients needed

1 package raw kelp noodles (found in natural grocery stores)
3 tablespoons tahini
1 tablespoon cashew butter, or almond butter
2 tablespoons brown rice vinegar
2 tablespoons tamari, or soy sauce
1 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
1/2 teaspoon coriander
1 teaspoon maple syrup

Easy preparation

  • Cut noodles to desired length.
  • Put remaining ingredients in a small bowl and blend. Add enough water to create a creamy sauce.
  • Pour sauce over noodles and toss well.
  • Add noodles to a salad, or stir in chopped or shredded veggies of your choice to make it a meal.
