I think the addition of truffle butter in this macaroni and cheese recipe needs no explanation. It is fantastic! It does not work well as leftovers, since the truffle oil loses its flavor. This dish is really easy to make and is perfect for special occasions, when you want to get on someone’s good side, or just make someone happy.
6 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
2 cloves garlic, minced
Truffle oil (use as much as your taste buds like)
12 ounces macaroni
4 to 6 ounces pecorino cheese, grated
Combine the butter with the garlic and truffle oil in a large bowl. Mix well, cover, and set aside.
Cook the pasta according to package directions.
Toss the macaroni with the truffle butter and add as much pecorino as desired. Enjoy!
