reCap Giveaway. Your mason jar solution!

Congratulations Sarah and Taryn, the lucky winners of this reCap giveaway! A big thank you to all that entered!

I have always been a mason jar fan. They are versatile and can be used for wet and dry goods storage, drinks, smoothies, and of course canning. The wide mouth openings of all sizes of mason jars make them easy to fill and use. Additionally, they are a healthy and environmentally safe option for storage and consuming liquids.

Up until now the only problem I had with using mason jars on a regular basis is that the lids rust easily and had to be replaced frequently. I was also always unsure if the metal lids were good for storage or safe to use to drink from regularly.

The reCap solution

These mason jar lids are made locally in America in Erie, Pennsylvania from 100% BPA free plastic. They screw onto both the large and small mouth sizes of mason jars. I have used mine with three different types of liquid and these lids do not leak! They make it easy to shake a powdered supplement in water if you are on the go, or to simply use for coffee, water, tea or any other liquid. I have other glass jars that I use for water and, although I love the silicone wrapping on these jars, I have always had problems with them leaking. I am relieved to have a different option now!

The reCap lids also wash easily, and make it easy to store dry products such as cereal, rice and beans and pour out as needed. I love that I can use mason jars on a daily basis and I also feel safe allowing my daughter to use these as well. I plan to purchase more and feel they would make great gifts!

If you are a mason jar lover and want to try reCap, leave a comment below this post telling us why you think these caps will change your life. We will have 2 lucky winners! Each winner will receive a Regular Mouth and Wide Mouth pour cap in Silver.
