Not enough time to go to the gym? Can’t find any time to exercise??? No more excuses!

These days it seems that everyone is busy and burning the candle at both ends! Usually the first thing that is neglected when schedules are tight is the commitment to exercise. You may not have time to go to the gym, but you CAN find time to exercise. Everyone is guilty of making excuses, including us, so we have decided to make a list of ways to incorporate fitness into daily life, proving that keeping fit can be convenient, and fun!

Find out why I don’t have cellulite, and how you might be able to prevent it, or get rid of it.

I know I might create some female haters for this post. I am not sure at what age cellulite is still reversible, if at all, so maybe this post is aimed at the young 20’s lovelies out there that care, fear, or feel like they are doomed to have cellulite and want to try to prevent it. Regardless, these are healthy things to do no matter what your motivation, so I wanted to share.

Enjoy Heart Pumping Activities

The best time to exercise is ANY TIME that you will do it and it is most convenient for you. There is no right or wrong time, as long as you do it! Do not think to yourself, “I don’t have time”. You do! Something that has worked for me is to get up 45 minutes earlier and get my workout done for the day! If you are like me and are not a morning person this may be hard for you to visualize, but it really is the best feeling to wake up early and have my workout done for the day. My energy is better all day because of it.

Want a more effective workout? Picture this: You are sitting on an overhead press machine (image above), or holding two dumbbells and pressing the weight overhead over and over again with the intention of building muscle strength and definition to the shoulder girdle. The “typical” formula used in gyms is performing “3 sets of 15 repetitions (or reps)” of each exercise you do. There is a more effective workout! Read on:

Have you used a Fit Ball or Stability Ball before? We are sharing some great ways to use it!

Stability Ball

No excuses here! Whether the weather is cruddy, you are crunched for time, or a true multi-tasker at heart, using a fit ball/stability ball at home is awesome. Even if you don’t use it to work out, having it as an alternative office chair is such a healthy idea! Just sitting on it while you work will align the spine, work your balance, and force the core to engage.
