Eleutherococcus extract, has a rich history—a very rich history and is one of my favorite ingredients in Adrenal Health. In the 16th century, a Chinese herbalist recorded, “I would rather have a handful of [eleuthero] than a cartload of treasures.” Used for centuries in Chinese herbalism, eleuthero, or “ci wu jia”, or you may have heard it referred to Siberian Ginseng in the past, has a primary function of boosting our Kidneys, Heart, and Spleen.
Here is a hint: anywhere you would use, raisins, cranberries, or currants.
In a salad, ANY kind of salad. Fruit salad, greens salad, chicken salad
On hot or cold cereal
In trail mix
In cookies (replace raisins or chocolate chips)
As a tea, or in addition to another tea, like green tea and goji
In water (Spa Water)
In ice cubes, a decorative and healthy addition
Or keep it simple and just grab a handful out of the bag and enjoy!
Finding good goji berries
When you purchase goji berries, they shouldn’t be hard as a rock. Purchase a high quality brand, and you won’t have that problem. Feel the berries in the packaging before buying and if they are not “soft” like raisins, skip that brand. Of course, there should be no additional ingredients, additives, or preservatives to keep them soft, so make sure to read the label!

Although resveratrol occurs naturally in grapes (especially Muscadine), nuts and other fruits, buying resveratrol as a supplement means that it is extracted from the herb Polygonum cuspidatum. The resveratrol from Polygonum cuspidatum is just like that of grapes and other sources of resveratrol, but unfortunately, Polygonum cuspidatum is known to be a toxic herb when consumed over time.
Electricity has been used in medicine since the days of the Romans. Electric torpedo fish were used for pain relief. Later, the electrostatic violet ray invented by Nikola Tesla, took the place of the fish. Nikola Tesla was the great genius who observed that high frequency electricity had significant benefits for health.

The appearance of facial wrinkles and lines are generally acquired over time. Emotional expressions are a form of tension. Habitual emotions result from unresolved conflicts, suspicions, fears, etc. These emotions reflect themselves in the facial musculature and appear as skin lines, furrows and wrinkles.
It’s time to spring ahead? There does not seem to be enough hours in the day to accomplish everything on our to-do lists! If you are like me, this can make you feel frustrated, aggravated, agitated, overwhelmed, stressed out and fatigued.
The human body is an “electrical machine”. All vital bodily functions happen as a result of electrical signals being sent between the various parts of your body and your brain. In order for your body to operate at peak performance, these electrical signals must be conducted in an efficient manner, this is where electrolytes come in.
I had forgotten how much I love goji water! I recently ended up with a surplus of goji berries, and didn’t want them to go to waste. I gave some to Michelle and she made raw, vegan goji berry bites, and I made goji water! As you may have guessed, goji water is easy to make, and the health benefits are outstanding!
I was very excited to try the Aman Prana High ORAC Botanico herb mix, mainly because I am so excited about this entire company and the products they are making available. All of the Aman Prana products, including coconut oil, matcha, and Gula Java coconut blossom sugar, are rated according to their ORAC value, glycemic (GI) value, Bovis value – this is a frequency value that measures the energy and vitality present in our bodies and foods, and Yin and Yang value – a popular measure in traditional Chinese medicine. These measurements alone, found on all of their products, set Aman Prana apart from any other company that I am familiar with.
