For the vegans who still want to enjoy the special “food events” like the big game, barbecues, and birthday parties, you will love this blue cheese dressing. Great over barbecue tempeh or as a veggie dip! This is very quick and easy to make. I have had non-vegan friends try this and not notice that it was not real blue cheese.
I recommend making this blue cheese dressing as early as possible so that it can sit in the refrigerator and the flavors can combine nicely.
2/3 cup vegan sour cream
1/2 cup vegan mayonnaise
1 large garlic clove, minced
2 tablespoons vegetarian Worcestershire sauce
Salt and pepper
2 tablespoons alternative milk of your choice
5 ounces vegan blue cheese (found in natural food stores)
Combine the sour cream, mayonnaise, garlic, Worcestershire, salt, pepper and milk together in a bowl. Crumble up the blue cheese and put into the mixture. You can add more milk if the mixture is too thick.
