Recently my 5 year old niece came for a visit. After our visitors left, I noticed an unopened jar of organic unsweetened applesauce in the refrigerator that was purchased for my niece, but hadn’t been used. I’m not really an applesauce eater, so there it sat for days until I was making a smoothie one day and I thought that it just might be a nice addition.
Sure enough, the applesauce gave this smoothie a nice texture and flavor. I will continue to make smoothies with the applesauce until it is gone, and I will keep it in mind as a recommended ingredient to others as well. Check out my first applesauce smoothie recipe. It was delicious.
Applesauce and Antioxidants
1/4 c Organic Unsweetened Applesauce
1/2 c Organic Frozen Strawberries
1/8 c Sea Buckthorn Puree
1/8 c Pomegranate Juice
1/8 c Organic Almond Milk
2 Tbsp Organic Milled Flax Seed
1 Tbsp Gula Java Matcha
1 scoop PhytoBerry
1 scoop Plant Based Protein
Combine all ingredients in a Blender or Vitamix. Enjoy!
